Carbon monoxide is a silent killer that is undetectable to us through smell, taste or sight. A Wireless Carbon Monoxide Detector from 2GIG Technologies is your solution for safeguarding a home against this hazardous gas. The detector is powered by a 3V CR123A lithium battery allowing it to work wirelessly in a home. This feature provides flexibility to the user to place it where ever they want in a home and not have to be constrained by AC outlets or hardwiring.

Upon detection of carbon monoxide this detector will emit an 85 decibel alarm and communicate the event to the 2GIG Go!Control Z-Wave Wireless Control Panel (service plan available for remote monitoring and management). When used with a wireless alarm panel, the carbon monoxide detector will also send tamper and battery condition messages to the panel. The detector also features three LEDs to provide visual confirmation of the devices' status. The LEDs will flash "green" when it is functioning on normal status, "yellow" when the battery is running low or the detector is in trouble, and "red" if being tested or if there is an alarm (refer to LED Status spec chart for further detail). The Wireless Carbon Monoxide Detector is designed for only indoor use and is ETL listed.
